The MPO Section of the Office of Policy Planning  ensures that regional transportation planning efforts are positioned to deliver results. The Office aligns local priorities with state and federal direction through clear guidance and strategic support.

The Office of Policy Planning:

• Coordinates transportation planning and project programming with Florida’s 27 MPOs resulting in transportation investments that reflect both regional needs and statewide priorities.
• Improves the quality and reliability of plans and programs through streamlined processes, effective guidance, and training.
• Strengthens transportation planning and project development by providing tools, data, and technical expertise for informed decision-making.
